The Record
David Gray's Toronto program moves from “Dead in the Water” and “Be Mine” through “White Ladder,” “My Oh My” and “Babylon.” A substantial encore changes personnel within the sequence: the source marks “This Year's Love” and “Shine” as Gray solo, “And It Stoned Me” as David and Rob only, and “Easy Way to Cry” as David, Tim and Craig. A “Mr. Tambourine Man” tease precedes “Freedom,” “Sail Away” and “Please Forgive Me.” The introduction and encore pause frame those shifts between the full group, Gray alone and the smaller combinations of players.
