Our current edition. 29-file source edition; Jay Holycross used a Sony 959 microphone and MZN707R recorder; the transfer runs through an MDS-JE470 and Creative interface to CDWav and Shorten. The source does not explain the asterisk/exclamation/hash marks on the encore. A malformed parenthesis in “(I Was So) Wasted” is repaired without inventing guest credits. Read the transfer report.

The Record

Cracker's New Year's Eve show at Chicago's House of Blues is a long, deliberately mixed program. “This Is Cracker Soul,” “Movie Star” and “Teen Angst” establish the opening run, but the two-disc set also reaches “White Riot,” “Pictures of Matchstick Men” and “Take Me Down to the Infirmary.” The encore begins with “51-7” and continues through “That Gum You Like,” “Friends” and “Wedding Day” before “Bicycle Spaniard.”
