The Record
Curren$y's Covert Coup brings a ten-track sequence into a producer-centered collaboration associated with The Alchemist. The original preview announced a free April 20 release and named Smoke DZA, Fiend and Freddie Gibbs among its contributors. Prodigy is also credited in the indexed list on “The Type.”
“BBS” introduces the tape, while “Full Metal” closes it. The Gibbs collaboration “Scottie Pippens” sits between “Smoke Break” and “Ventilation,” locating a widely circulated feature within its original surroundings. The preview's date is an announcement date, not automatically the release date. A later edition or an individual-track upload should be matched against all ten entries.
