Thanks For Listening To This Record Which Made My Hours Pass So Quickly (2008)

David Schweighart · 2008 · 47 min

David Schweighart assembled this long-titled solo album from work kept alongside his roles in Tupolev, Primordial Undermind and KES's live band. The release notes place folk songs, chamber-pop arrangements and experiments together, naming guitar, cello, trumpet and harmonica in the arrangements of “Ich Bin Gleich” and “In Die Sonnne Lachen.” Two “Prager Lovesong” pieces divide the sequence. The closer, “My Head In The Harmonium,” is described as layered voice and harmonica. It is an anthology of several approaches within one musician's practice, rather than a document of one continuous performance. Release description and source notes

Source tags embed the artist, abbreviated album name and track number in each title; the visible names can be reduced to their final song segment while retaining those literal tags as evidence. The label discusses an Opticplus remix, but the selected file is named “Minuskit P.O. Lukas Scholler Reprise”; keep that discrepancy explicit. Release description and source notes.
