The Record
Explosions in the Sky's March 21, 2008 performance at Great American Music Hall in San Francisco CA is preserved in this recording.
This was the second of three sold-out Great American Music Hall shows, according to the source. Eight instrumental pieces sit between introductory and closing files, from “First Breath After Coma” to “The Only Moment We Were Alone.” The notes explain that omitting those non-song bookends allows the program to fit one eighty-minute disc. The catalog retains them, keeping the source edition distinct from a shortened disc layout. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
