The Record
Hayseed Dixie's April 29, 2004 performance at Flanigans in Columbus, Ohio is preserved in this recording.
Hayseed Dixie's repertoire joins AC/DC and Kiss songs with fiddle-oriented material such as “Shady Grove” and “Foggy Mountain Breakdown.” “Gin & Juice” arrives after “Doreen,” and “Highway to Hell” precedes the closing “Will the Circle Be Unbroken.” The program's interest is the coexistence of those songbooks in one set. The twenty-five files preserve its order rather than separating rock covers from the acoustic repertoire. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
