The Record
Jack Johnson's August 26, 2005 performance at Starlight Theatre in Kansas City, MO is preserved in this recording.
Dan Lebowitz guests on lap steel for “Constellations” and “Breakdown,” with another appearance on percussion during “Rodeo Clowns.” The taper reports a stopped recording between early songs, increasing crowd noise and a mix that relies heavily on the left channel. Those interventions belong to this Starlight Theatre transfer. Its guest-rich setlist does not justify describing the audience recording as uninterrupted or untouched. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
