Nipsey Hussle's Crenshaw paired a free release with a striking physical-sales experiment. Contemporary reporting describes a limited run priced at $100 alongside the freely distributed project, showing how the same music could support different relationships with listeners.

The indexed sequence stretches from “Crenshaw BLVD” to “Crenshaw and Slauson (True Story).” Rick Ross, Dom Kennedy, James Fauntleroy, Z-Ro and Slim Thug appear among its collaborators.
