Five years after the first one, and better: Out of It is the Brad Sucks record where the songs caught up with the idea. Dropping out of School opens it at a sprint, Bad Sign and Certain Death are the catchiest things he has written, and the title track is a slow one that earns it. Same one-man method, same ShareAlike licence, same open stems — Creative Commons announced the release on its own blog in September 2008 as the model of how a working independent musician could give an album away and still make a living from it. Thirty-four minutes; it does not overstay.
