The Record

Phil Lesh and Friends' Chicago Theatre program opens with “China Cat Sunflower” and “Doin' That Rag,” then gives the first set a different direction through “Sunday Sound,” “Big Boss Man” and “Broken Arrow.” The credited band includes John Molo, Barry Sless, Mookie Siegel, Larry Campbell and Chris Robinson alongside Lesh. Set two connects “Cold Rain and Snow,” “Señor” and “Pride of Cucamonga” with “Operator” and “Viola Lee Blues” before the “Help on the Way”/“Slipknot!”/“Franklin's Tower” sequence. The organ-donor appeal and “U.S. Blues” encore remain separate entries at the end.
