The Record
Raflesia's Logenplatz im Pantheon comes from a Dortmund trio: MCs Amigo and Cachafa with DJ Feezen Freezen. The 12rec statement identifies German and Spanish raps, contrasting the two vocalists' approaches while describing the DJ's rough beats, synthesizer arrangements, electronic detail and film samples. Ten pieces move from “El Camino” and “Raf Nix” through “Soylent Green,” “Karbon” and “Daedalus,” ending with “Nekropolis” and “Frzzzn.” That personnel and regional context is the release's useful identity.
