The Record
Railroad Earth's June 3, 2006 performance at the blue plum festival in johnson city, tn is preserved in this recording.
The Blue Plum Festival notes mark passing trains during “Old Man and the Land” and “Head,” with the railway very close to the stage. “Dandelion Wine” opens after the introduction, and “Ragtime Annie Lee” ends the encore. Those environmental sounds belong to the outdoor performance's documented setting. They should not be confused with defects introduced by a later transfer or silently removed from the edition description. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
