The Record
Warren Haynes becomes a central presence in the second half of Tedeschi Trucks Band's Beacon Theater show. The source distinguishes his duo with Derek Trucks on “Preachin' Blues” from full-band appearances on “Done Somebody Wrong,” “I Want More” and “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.” Ricky Gordon adds washboard on “Walk on Guilded Splinters.” Earlier, “Made Up Mind,” “Do I Look Worried” and “Part of Me” lead toward an “Idle Wind” sequence containing drums. Haynes also takes vocals on the closing “With a Little Help from My Friends.”
