The Record
The Dead's July 5, 2015 performance at Soldier Field in Chicago, IL is preserved in this recording.
The final Chicago date of the source's Fare Thee Well sequence ends with “Touch of Grey” and “Attics of My Life.” The crowd's “Not Fade Away” chant is tracked both before and after the first encore, preserving its role in the farewell. “Unbroken Chain” and “Days Between” occupy the later main set. This sixteen-bit circulation derives from a documented twenty-four-bit Schoeps microphone recording, rather than being the capture's original resolution. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
