The Record
Sounds of vinyl and the past XE revisits The Scallions' instrumental concept work, which blocSonic contrasts with the group's earlier vocal power-pop release Agony Through Ceremony. The source credits Shawn Franklin's guitar and a companion short film by David “C-Doc” Snyder. Its two extended Miniature sections sit among introductions, alternate edits and demos, while a second disc adds commentary and two out-of-phase mixes. That documentary material belongs to the published edition: the label confirms all twenty-two entries, giving the album a broader presentation than a conventional song-only tracklist. The publisher's two-disc list confirms fourteen entries on disc one and eight on disc two, matching the twenty-two selected files.
