Wale's More About Nothing continues the framing of The Mixtape About Nothing, but gives it a new twenty-one-entry sequence. The release notice identifies a self-released 2010 mixtape and supplies guests including Wiz Khalifa, Daniel Merriweather, Tiara Thomas and members of Wale's Washington, DC circle.

“The Problem” and “The MC” start the tape, while “The Break Up Song” and “The Ambitious Girl” provide recognizable points later on. “KD Interlude” remains separate between songs. The Waka Flocka Flame collaboration “No Hands” appears under the contextual title “The Guilty Pleasure,” making the original credit important when matching it against other versions of that song.
