Commando Cody straps on a leather jacket, a bullet helmet and a rocket pack with an on-off switch on the chest, and flies. Republic's flying rig was the best in the business and the footage got reused for years afterward. The plot concerns lunar invaders knocking out American industry, but the plot is not the point — the point is a man in a flight suit lifting off a hillside and banking over the ridge, still the purest rocketpunk image the movies have produced.

Ships as a single multi-file torrent containing all 12 chapters in order, which is how a serial was actually shown — a chapter a week. Chapter files are zero-padded so their running order is their sort order.

Found by a serial-aware sweep, which sums every video file in an item rather than judging one file at a time; the ordinary print sweep could not see serials at all, because it compared a single 20-minute chapter against a multi-hour listing and discarded the item. The chapter sequence was checked for gaps — a missing chapter is the usual failure and is invisible unless counted — and the release total was verified against Archive.org's published sizes before hashing.

Not yet watched, so this edition stays unpublished until it is. For a serial that means confirming every chapter plays and none is a duplicate of another.

Public domain by long-standing distribution consensus: published 1952, renewal required in the 28th year and by all accounts never filed. The renewal window (1979–80) falls in the Copyright Office's post-1977 online records rather than the scanned CCE volumes, so the online renewal search is the named remaining verification step before the torrent publishes.
