The Record
Desert Rain's November 21, 2014 performance at Kicker's Cafe in Danielson, CT is preserved in this recording.
The Desert Rain package starts with a “Roots Rock Reggae” soundcheck before the numbered main-set songs. Its repertoire draws together Grateful Dead material, “Can't Find My Way Home,” “Gin & Juice” and other covers; “Goin' Down the Road Feeling Bad” is annotated with altered lyrics. The leading numbers identify file order and are separated from the song names. That distinction preserves the soundcheck without counting it as the concert's opening number. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
