The Record
Furthur's June 29, 2010 performance at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe, PA is preserved in this recording.
Furthur opens with a jam into “Greatest Story Ever Told” and “Promised Land.” “Reuben and Cerise” leads to “Pride of Cucamonga,” while the second set connects “Dancin' in the Streets” with “Estimated Prophet.” “Revolution” supplies the encore after the donor appeal. The source places the taper in the balcony above the soundboard, giving this Penn's Peak capture a stated audience perspective. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
