The Record
Grateful Dead's June 24, 1970 performance at Capitol Theater in Port Chester, NY is preserved in this recording.
The Capitol Theater files include New Riders of the Purple Sage material as well as the Grateful Dead's acoustic and electric performances. Repeated “Henry” and “Portland Woman” entries belong to different portions of that mixed bill. The electric sequence repeatedly returns to “Dark Star,” around “Attics of My Life” and “Sugar Magnolia.” A shorter summary setlist in the description does not account for the whole forty-seven-file package. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
