The Record

The Grateful Dead's February 19 Golden Hall show begins “Bertha” into “Greatest Story Ever Told,” then brings “Dire Wolf,” “Cassidy” and “Candyman” into the first set. The second opens “Alabama Getaway” into “The Promised Land,” with “Ship of Fools” before “Lost Sailor” and “Saint of Circumstance.” Drums and space lead to “The Other One” and “Stella Blue,” then “Man Smart (Woman Smarter)” and “Johnny B. Goode.” “U.S. Blues” closes the encore. The supplied transfer uses four named patches from another audience source, so the concert sequence is complete as listed while the provenance is deliberately mixed.
