The Record

The Grateful Dead's March 22 Hampton show opens with “Feel Like a Stranger” and “Cold Rain & Snow,” then includes “Brown Eyed Women,” “Cassidy” and “My Brother Esau” before “Don't Ease Me In.” Set two links “Scarlet Begonias” directly into “Hell in a Bucket,” then reaches “Ship of Fools” and “Terrapin Station.” Drums and space precede a separately indexed “Spanish Jam,” followed by “Truckin',” “Smokestack Lightnin'” and “Black Peter.” “Sugar Magnolia” ends the set and “It's All Over Now, Baby Blue” the encore. This Oade PCM edition keeps tuning files at both openings.
