The Record
Grateful Dead's August 6, 1971 performance at Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, CA is preserved in this recording.
“Hard to Handle” sits near the end of the first set; the second interrupts “The Other One” with “Me and My Uncle” before returning to it. The notes identify Harvey Kaslow and Craig Todd as recordists, document pitch correction and call this a remaster of an earlier circulating source. “Morning Dew” and “Turn On Your Lovelight” finish the package. Its transfer history is part of this edition's identity. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
