Grateful Dead's December 16, 1978 performance at Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, TN is preserved in this recording.
“Scarlet Begonias” and “Fire on the Mountain” anchor the second set, while “Lazy Lightnin'” and “Supplication” form another linked pair earlier in the concert. The transfer notes disclose missing opening seconds of “Sugaree” and a short alternate-source patch within “Drums.” They also describe a cassette originally recorded with Dolby B but played back without it for this transfer—useful information when comparing editions.
