The Record
The Grateful Dead's March 29 Nassau show begins with “Cold Rain & Snow” and joins “Down in the Bottom” to “I Ain't Superstitious” in one file. “Friend of the Devil,” a “Supplication” jam and “My Brother Esau” appear before the first-set close. The later sequence opens on “Terrapin Station,” then moves through “Women Are Smarter,” “Goin' Down the Road Feelin' Bad” and “Baby What You Want Me to Do?” toward drums and space. “Wharf Rat,” “Throwing Stones” and “Johnny B. Goode” lead to the “Brokedown Palace” encore. This source is identified as an Oade Brothers PCM recording.
