Our current edition. 23-file source edition; Nakamichi 100 microphones in the taper section fed Sony D5 cassette masters, then DR-2/Presonus/Wavelab capture at 24-bit/96 kHz. Waves limiting/dithering produced 16-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC. The joined drums/jam file remains; this is a processed transfer rather than an untouched master. Read the transfer report.

The Record
The Grateful Dead's January 28 San Francisco show opens with “Shakedown Street” and “Get Back,” then reaches “Peggy-O,” “Walkin' Blues” and “It Must Have Been the Roses.” “Bird Song” and “Jack Straw” close the first set. The second starts “When Push Comes to Shove” and places “Black Muddy River” before “He's Gone” and “Spoonful.” Drums share a file with a jam before “Eyes of the World,” then “Black Peter,” “Around and Around” and “Sugar Magnolia” lead to the “U.S. Blues” encore. Tuning and crowd passages accompany the two sets.
