Grateful Dead's February 26, 1977 performance at Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino, CA is preserved in this recording.
The source marks both “Terrapin Station” and “Estimated Prophet” as first performances, with “Terrapin” opening the concert. “Playing in the Band” returns around “The Wheel,” and “Help on the Way,” “Slipknot!” and “Franklin's Tower” form a later linked sequence. The transfer credits Hunter Seamons with pitch adjustment and tracking. Those debut annotations and the opening placement make this Swing Auditorium date especially identifiable within the band's live catalog. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
