The Record
The Grateful Dead's Three Rivers Stadium show opens on “Touch of Grey” into “Greatest Story Ever Told,” with “Jack-A-Roe,” “Row Jimmy” and “Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues” in the first set. The second places “Eyes of the World” before “Estimated Prophet” and “Terrapin Station,” then moves through a separately indexed jam, drums and space. “Wang Dang Doodle” and “Black Peter” follow “I Need a Miracle,” with “Turn on Your Lovelight” closing the set and “Knockin' on Heaven's Door” the encore. Crosby, Stills and Nash opened the Three Rivers Stadium show, according to the concert notes.
