The Record
Jesca Hoop performs alone throughout this Hotel Cafe recording, giving the March 31, 2006 show a clearly documented solo setting. ‘Canned Canary’ and ‘Paradise’ follow an introductory track; ‘Hero,’ ‘While You Were Away’ and ‘Enemy’ occupy the middle of the set. The listed transition from ‘Ballerina Song’ into ‘Summertime’ is retained, with ‘Wishing Well’ and ‘Seed Of Wonder’ closing the eleven-sequence.

The taper reports slight hiss from the PA or a nearby air conditioner. This DPA 4061 audience capture retains eleven FLAC files; neither the possible hiss source nor the musical transition has been independently checked by listening. Source and edition notes.
Source limits: Source recording/transfer: DPA 4061 -> MPS 6020 -> AT CP-8201 -> Creative Nomad Jukebox III (line-in).
