Our current edition. 22-file source edition; Skalinder recorded from center, about 20 feet back, at 24-bit/48 kHz and supplied a dithered 16-bit/44.1 kHz edition. The source identifies four previously unnamed files as lead-in/fades/applause and recommends removing the two adjacent disc fades for seamless playback. Those files are retained here. The Record

Josh Ritter's Double Door set builds toward the nearly twelve-minute “Thin Blue Flame,” then returns after the original disc break with “Me and Jiggs” and “Hotel Song.” Chicago gets a substantial cross-section of his songwriting: “Girl in a War,” “Idaho,” “Wolves” and “Lillian, Egypt” sit beside “Golden Age of Radio.” The encore takes a different turn, moving through “Come and Find Me” and “Harrisburg” before an unplugged “Lawrence, KS.” Brian Skalinder's recording keeps the lead-in, applause and disc fades, giving this document the shape of a particular night rather than a studio-album sequence.
