The Record
Mountain Goats's June 23, 2005 performance at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, CA is preserved in this recording.
John Vanderslice joins “Linda Blair Was Born Innocent” and “Dinu Lipatti's Bones,” with the drummer from Double appearing on later songs. The source identifies “Pet Politics” as a Silver Jews cover. “This Year” arrives near the end before “Furniture Store.” Those guest placements and the borrowed song distinguish this Bottom of the Hill performance, while the separately tracked introduction remains a recording entry rather than an additional Mountain Goats composition. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
