The Record
Patterson Hood's January 7, 2006 performance at Asheville Pizza & Brewing Company in Asheville, NC is preserved in this recording.
An aborted start of “Blessing and a Curse” precedes the song's complete attempt, so the opening files preserve the event rather than a cleaned-up studio sequence. Patterson Hood also includes Big Star's “Thank You Friends.” The encore draws together “The Living Bubba,” “Road Cases” and “Nine Bullets.” The documented Neumann microphone capture provides the edition's provenance without turning its equipment list into a quality verdict. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
