The Record
The Rugburns' Vogue show pairs “ABCs of Love,” “Tree Huggers,” “Fence Around My Heart” and “Hitchhiker Joe” with joined cover medleys and a long encore. The source says Steve invited someone from the audience to sing “Pitbull” after forgetting the words, without identifying that guest. The encore begins “The Single Life” and reaches “Little Red Corvette” and the “Sesame Street Theme Song” before an approximately eighteen-minute “Dicks Automotive.” A “Hitchhiker Joe”/Pearl Jam passage and “Mama”/Grease passage remain combined entries. These documented interruptions, medleys and returns distinguish the thirty-file Indianapolis performance from a straightforward album-song recital.
