The Record

The New Deal's November 27, 2004 performance at the Bowery Ballroom in New York, NY is preserved in this recording.

DJ Harry leads into the New Deal's Bowery Ballroom performance, and the package preserves those transitions rather than crediting every opening minute to the band. “Moonscraper” and “G-Nome” return around intervening jams. “Mirror in the Bathroom” is attributed to the English Beat; a possible Björk tease is explicitly uncertain in the source. “Home” and “My Head, My Head” close the long improvisation-centered program. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
