The Record
Tom Tom Club's May 15, 1989 performance at The Bayou In Georgetown in Washington, DC is preserved in this recording.
Tom Tom Club's Bayou performance brings “Genius of Love,” “Suboceana” and “Wordy Rappinghood” together with “Under the Boardwalk,” “Femme Fatale” and “Psycho Killer.” The latter songs form the closing run of the fourteen-track program. The source credits the Electrostatic Retrospective Archives and retains its free-trading note. This is the dated live sequence, not the studio versions of the familiar songs assembled into an anthology. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
