First download? Start here
- Install a torrent client on your computer, such as qBittorrent or Transmission, from its official site.
- Choose Download .torrent above. This small file tells your client which files to fetch; it is not the film, book, or music itself.
- Open that file in your client, choose a folder with enough space for the download size shown above, and start the transfer.
- Once it finishes, open the downloaded files. Leave the torrent in your client to share it with others.

Download not starting?
- If a magnet does nothing, open your client first or use Download .torrent and open the saved file from the client.
- If the client is waiting for metadata, try the .torrent file. It already includes the file details and available webseed fallbacks.
- Check that the torrent is not paused or queued, your destination has enough free space, and your connection is online.
- A recent seeder report is not a guarantee of a connection now. Webseeds can also be temporarily unavailable; leave the client open and try again later.

The Episode
A widow and her son are threatened by a dangerous man, and something in the yard takes their side. Merwin Gerard writing protection rather than menace, which he did more often than the show's reputation suggests.

Public Domain
Why It's Free
Public domain: registered as published, never renewed. World Television Programming, Inc. registered this episode with the Copyright Office as a published motion picture, which is the fact that matters most — a series that was only broadcast and syndicated was never published, never needed renewing, and would still be protected today. The registration line reads: The justice tree. © 5Jan60 (in notice: 1959); LP15344.
No renewal was filed in the 28th year. The check is not a search for this episode's title, which can be spelled differently on the record than on air; it is a sweep of the Copyright Office's post-1978 records for the claimant's own filings, which returns exactly twelve renewals across the whole series and does not include this one. Underneath, the teleplay is original — no renewal surfaced under any credited writer — and Harry Lubin's theme returned no renewal under composer or title, so unlike most vintage television nothing survives in the music.
